What do you think of the health care protesters?
They could do it without so much emotion. The protesters need to organize so they cannot be put down by the government or anyone else for that matter. They need a voice of reason or they may be cast off like loons. To emotional about how they feel. They may be ignored.

Idea, they should all meet somewhere then have a meeting, then go to their local news station and stand there. I dont think that would work tho. I saw the last tea party event and the boston stations didnt mention it, I heard the BBC had a blast reporting that boston was historical yet now the people are being taxed to death and not a peep was heard from boston papers until days later.
ReplyDeleteEmotion and passion and standing for one's convictions are the only things that will truly move people. If you want to gather people to your cause, your voice needs to be loud, yet it needs to be backed up with substance.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, there are plenty of loonies out there with a megaphone (Alex Jones comes to mind) but without substance they will simply get lost in the crowd. Also, there are so many out there that are demanding "change" with no solutions being presented. Simply bitching about the way things are will get you no where.
Johnz yours and my dads idea were almost exactly the same. Adam i almost agree but, passion sometimes means getting out of hand so i can almost agree yet, disagree.
ReplyDeletewow,you are really there, i wish more people had your insight are you sure you are only 15?we always encourage peacefull protesting, that is why we are the USA and they are everyone else. third world protests are violent (much like a lakers title win)jk, we promote freedom of speech and this is a demonstrative form of action. in the 60s protests were thought of as just a bunch of hippies making a stand, but i see it as non-apathetic citizens having their voice heard. let's all be that little boy that cried out "the king is naked" and that revealed the truth.
